শনিবার (১৬ সেপ্টেম্বর) বিকেল তিনটায় শহরের ২নং রেল গেইট এলাকায় বাংলাদেশ ও স্বাধীনতা বিরোধী দেশী-বিদেশী ষড়যন্ত্রকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে যুবলীগ নেতা আজমতের নেতৃত্বে বিশাল মিছিল নিয়ে অংশ গ্রহন করেন।
উক্ত সমাবেশে নারায়ণগঞ্জ -৪আসনের সংসদ সদস্য একেএম শামীম ওসমানের সভাপতিত্বে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী আসাদুজ্জামান খান কামাল। এছাড়াও আরও উপস্থিত থাকবেন নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলা ও মহানগর আওয়ামীলীগ ও সহযোগী সংগঠনের অন্যান্য নেতৃবৃন্দ।
