২৯ অক্টোবর ২০২২ ঢাকাস্থ মোহাম্মদ আলী স্টেডিয়ামে বিকেলে পুরষ্কার বিতরণী অনুষ্ঠান আয়োজিত হয়েছে। এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ গার্ল গাইডের জাতীয় কমিশনার কাজী জেবুন্নেছা বেগম, বিশেষ অতিথি উপস্থিত ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ গার্ল গাইডের ডেপুটি জাতীয় কমিশনার (প্রশাসন) প্রফেসর সাবিনা ফেরদৌস, নারায়ণগঞ্জ কিকবক্সিং এসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি ও নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিটি কর্পোরেশনের ৪,৫,৬ নং ওয়ার্ডের সংরক্ষিত নারী কাউন্সিলর মনোয়ারা বেগম।
সভায় সভাপতিত্ব করেন বাংলাদেশ কিকবক্সিং এসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি প্রফেসর ড.আলাউদ্দিন আহমেদ, সঞ্চালনা করেন সাধারণ সম্পাদক মোস্তাফিজুর রহমান মোস্তাফিজ।
এছাড়াও এই আয়োজনে সারাদেশ থেকে আগত বিভিন্ন শ্রেণীপেশার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যক্তিবর্গ, ক্রীড়া অনুরাগী, শিক্ষক, অভিভাবকগণ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
২৮,২৯ অক্টোবর ঢাকাস্থ মোহাম্মদ আলী বক্সিং স্টেডিয়ামে এবারের জাতীয় আসরে নারায়ণগঞ্জ কিকবক্সিং এসোসিয়েশন এর দল অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলো।
এবারের আসরের সাফল্য তুলে ধরে নারায়ণগঞ্জ কিকবক্সিং টিমের ক্যাপ্টেন রাকিবুল ইসলাম ইফতি গণমাধ্যম কে তাদের সাফল্যের কথা জানান। তিনি বলেন গতবারের তুলনায় এবারের জাতীয় পর্যায়ে নারায়ণগঞ্জের অর্জন আশাতীত হয়েছে। এই ধারা অব্যাহত থাকলে আগামী আসরেও আমরা আরো চমক দেখাতে পারবো। আমাদের ভালো ফলাফলের পেছনে ছিলো প্রশিক্ষণ, সুন্দর টিম ম্যানেজমেন্ট, সু-শৃঙ্খল সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো তথা ক্রীড়াবান্ধব পরিবেশ। একই সাথে এই সাফল্য নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলার সকল জনগণের উদ্দেশ্যে উৎসর্গ করছি। পাশাপাশি তিনি নারায়ণগঞ্জ কিকবক্সিং এসোসিয়েশন ও নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার কর্মকর্তাদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করেন। আগামীতে আরো ভালো ফলাফল করতে আমরা ক্রীড়াঅনুরাগী সবাইকে আমাদের পাশে থাকার জন্য আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি।

নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলা থেকে ৯ সদস্য বিশিষ্ট একটি কিকবক্সিং দল এবারের প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করে।
নারায়ণগঞ্জ কিকবক্সিং এসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি ও নারায়ণগঞ্জ সিটি কর্পোরেশনের ৪,৫,৬ নং ওয়ার্ডের সংরক্ষিত নারী কাউন্সিলর মানোয়ারা বেগম জানান, সুস্থ সবল জাতি গঠনে কিকবক্সিং এর গুরুত্ব অপরিহার্য। তাই সারা নারায়ণগঞ্জ ব্যাপি কিকবক্সিং খেলার প্রশিক্ষণ ছড়িয়ে দিয়ে আত্নরক্ষা ও সু-শৃঙ্খল জীবন গঠনে কাজ করে যাচ্ছি। জাতীয় কিকবক্সং প্রতিযোগিতায় নারায়ণগঞ্জ দলের সাফল্যে অভিনন্দন জানিয়ে বলেন, আমার সোনার ছেলে মেয়েরা নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলার মুখ উজ্জ্বল করেছো। তাই শীঘ্রই নারায়ণগঞ্জ জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার সাথে সমন্বয় করে জমকালো সংবর্ধনার মাধ্যমে প্রত্যক খেলোয়াড়কে সম্মান প্রদানের ঘোষণা দেন।
উল্লেখ্য, কোভিড-১৯ এর আগে সর্বশেষ ২০১৮-১৯ প্রতিযোগিতায় নারায়ণগঞ্জ দল দারুন সাফল্য অর্জন করেছিলো। স্বর্ণ, রৌপ্য এবং ব্রোঞ্জ পদকের দেখা পেয়েছিলো তারা।
