বৃহস্পতিবার (১ সেপ্টেম্বর) টুঙ্গিপাড়ায় বঙ্গবন্ধুর মাজারে ফুল দিয়ে শ্রদ্ধা জানান নারায়ণগঞ্জ মহানগর স্বেচ্ছাসেবকলীগের সাবেক সভাপতি জুয়েল হোসেন।
এসময় তিনি বলেন, বঙ্গবন্ধুর মতো মহান নেতা আমরা বাঙ্গালীরা পাবো কিনা জানিনা , তার মতো নেতা কোনদিন মৃত্যু হয়না! তিনি বেঁচে থাকবেন বাঙ্গালীর হৃদয়ে বাঙ্গলীর অস্তিস্ত্বে। তিনি এসেছিলেন আমাদের মাঝে আশির্বাদ হয়ে। যার জন্ম না হলে এই স্বাধীন হতোনা। তাকে হারিয়ে আমাদের যে বড় ক্ষতি হয়েছে তা কখনো পুরন হবার নয়। হাজার বছরের শ্রেষ্ঠ বাঙ্গালী হয়ে তিনি আমাদের মাঝে বেঁচে আছেন, থাকবেন। আমরা বাঙ্গালী জাতি হিসেবে আমরা সত্যিই হতভাগা কারন বঙ্গবন্ধুর মতো বিশ্বনেতাকে আমরা হত্যা করেছি।
তিনি আরো বলেন, আমরা বাঙ্গলী জাতি হিসেবে বঙ্গবন্ধুর কাছে চিরঋণী। তাই আমাদের উচিত তাঁর জন্য মহান আল্লাহ পাকের কাছে দোয়া করা। তাঁর সুযোগ্য কণ্যা জননেত্রী মানবতার মা শেখ হাসিনা বাংলাদেশকে তার আদর্শে বিশ্বে এক অনন্য উচ্চতায় নিয়ে গেছেন। আল্লাহ পাক আমার নেত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে দীর্ঘ নেক হায়াত দান করুন।
